This long sandy beach is ideal for families and has some eye-catching features including rows of traditional beach huts. It’s also adjacent to the South West Coast Path with nearby attractions including the picturesque fishing village of Clovelly.

Hand carved tunnels leading to sheltered coves and a tidal pool.
This is a popular beach for families with rock pools and a tidal swimming pool for the children. It’s also a beautiful area of coastline with sea views towards Lundy Island and South Wales.
A quiet sand and shingle beach situated in an attractive rocky cove. There are lots of rock pools to explore at low tide and some of the shells on the beach have been washed up from the Caribbean on the Gulf Stream.

Two miles of magnificent golden sand backed by sandy hills
The vibrant beach is a favourite with families and has a broad expanse of golden sand and offers reasonably safe swimming. Activities on the water include surfing, windsurfing and canoeing and zoning is used to increase safety.
