Longleat is one of the Club's most beautiful parkland sites, in the middle of the lovely Longleat Estate, with miles of paths to walk amid the pleasures of woodland, bluebell, azalea and rhododendron. The site is generally quiet and peaceful outside school holiday time, although entertainment (some with music) and amenities at the park takes place nearby can be noisy at times.
In your car you can visit the famous Safari Park, (the first to be opened outside Africa) the Longleat Hedge Maze and the Adventure Castle for the children are a short walk away. Cafes, pubs and restaurant are also within walking distance during the day. If you want to go out for the day, both Bath and Bristol are reachable; the Roman, Regency and 20thC Bath being a special favourite. Still famous as a spa, you can take the waters if you can stand the taste!
